The top of the stone is wire wrapped in Sterling silver wire and it hangs from a delicate 1mm wide quality Sterling silver cable chain with a spring ring clasp. The natural iolite is a 10mm x 10mm faceted briolette teardrop with a 3mm faceted iolite rondelle bead above it.  Overall length of the necklace is 21".
